Bay Area Forest & Beach School

Cohort Options
We would love to have you join our adventures. We offer drop off classes as well as caregiver and child classes. These are offered seasonally (3 months) or by school year (10 months).
Our drop off classes offer special and a very small 1:3 teacher to child ratio. Think ferry rides to the farmers market or angel island, running barefoot along the coast looking for special stones; school becomes an enriching adventure.
Our caregiver and child classes provide an opportunity to be amongst community and offer a space for connection with different families; all while out in nature as your children explore and create.
We hope to make our enrollment and application process simple. Find the cohort you'd like to join below and click the 'apply here' button. Once you submit your application we will get back to you shortly with next steps for enrollment.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

What does a typical day look like?
A typical day at BAFBS is lead by nature and the child. However, your child can expect to experience play provocations with open ended materials, a brief meeting time, a hike or short walk, nature-based art, and a story.
